April in Newcastle means one thing - food, and plenty of it. Newcastle Food Month is back for its sixth year, bringing the city to life with more than 70 feature events and 70 plate dates across a full month of flavour. And this year, we’re part of it!

We’ve teamed up with the crew at Earp Distilling Co. and East End Ice Creamery to bring you Shuck Fest - a laid-back afternoon where seafood and spirits come together in all the best ways.

Wander through the Barrel Hall and explore a series of tasting stations, including:

Live oyster shucking by Dawson’s
Seasonal seafood menu prepared by Earp Distilling Co.
Limited-edition Summertime Limoncello sorbet by East End Ice Creamery
The Earp x Dawson’s Gin Martini Bar

Your ticket includes:
Entry to the Shuck Fest tasting area

From there, you can pay as you taste your way around the room, discovering how beautifully seafood and spirits pair together.
