These Coffs Harbour Moreton Bay Bugs are wild caught and cooked ready for you to eat. The edible part of these crustaceans is the tail which has a medium, sweet rich flavour that is milder than a Balmain Bug but stronger than a Rock Lobster.
We love them on their own with butter and lemon or in fresh summer salads with citrus, herbs, garlic and ginger flavours.
Your Moreton Bay Bugs from Dawson's Oyster Supplies will come cut in half and cleaned (guts removed). Price is per bug. Current season bugs are approximately 100g each.
